Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Her most well-known role is anchorwoman for CNN's morning show At This Hour. She co-anchored CNN's weekday morning shows New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is part of CNN's award-winning presidential election coverage for 2012. Bolduan has also been a correspondent for Congress based in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan was an active Capitol Hill Unit member when she reported on the Congress cycle which included events like discussions to raise the federal credit limit or deliberations by the super committee. Her work on general assignments has included stories regarding the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the government's stimulus plan in 2009. She was hired by CNN Newsource as a National Correspondent in 2007. As a correspondent for the national network, she covered breaking news as well as feature stories for more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliates. She worked for NBC News, MSNBC, and WTVD-TV. Her current home is with her family in New York City together with her husband, two sons and two grandkids.
