LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball professional who is a player with the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. He is known as King James and is considered to be among the best basketball players ever. James holds the distinction of winning four NBA championships. He has four NBA MVPs. Four NBA Finals MVPs. Three All-Star MVPs. And two Olympic gold medals. James has earned the second highest number of career goals, and the seventh in assists. He has been selected for the NBA All Star team 18 times. In addition to being an NBA All-Star, James was chosen as a member of the NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. James has played in 10 NBA Finals the third most all time including eight consecutively between 2011 and the year 2018. James has been chosen for his place on the NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's very first player to have accumulated 10,000 or more points, rebounds, and assists in his career in 2022. James played for St. Vincent St. Mary High School close to his hometown of Akron Ohio. His future NBA career was hyped by the media. The Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the first pick of the NBA draft in 2003. As the NBA rookie player of 2004, he established himself rapidly as one of the best athletes in the league, winning the NBA MVP awards in the 2009 and 2010 seasons. He was unable to secure a championship with Cleveland James left in 2010 as a free agent to join the Miami Heat this was announced on television in the program The Decision and is among the most controversial free-agent decisions ever made in the history of sports.
