LeBron Raymone James Sr., born the 30th of December, 1984, is an American professional basket ball player who represents the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). King James, he's widely thought of as the best basketball player ever and is often compared Michael Jordan during debates about the best basketball player ever. James holds the distinction of winning four NBA championships. Four NBA MVPs. Four NBA Finals MVPs. Three All-Star MVPs. And two Olympic gold medals. James has the world record of the highest score of points in the post-season. He is second in total career point total and seventh highest number of career assists. The NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, a record. James was also named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. The third-highest amount of NBA Finals ever was ten and eight of them were consecutive between 2011 and 2018. In 2021 James was named to make the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 he became the first athlete in NBA history to score 10,000 points or more in a career as well as assists and rebounds. James played basketball with St. Vincent St. Mary High School, located in Akron Ohio. The national press praised him as an NBA superstar. He was a top pick for the Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the number one pick of the NBA draft in 2003. He was named the NBA rookie of the year in 2004. He soon became one of the top players in the NBA as he won an NBA MVP Award both as of 2009 and in 2010. James signed for the Miami Heat in 2010 when the team became a free agent after failing to achieve the title with Cleveland. The news was broadcast on The Decision.
