Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss was born July 23, 1971, in Decatur, Illinois. Both LeAnnekymes and Krauss were among the youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23 1971) is an American bluegrass-country singer and musician. Alison Krauss started her career in music at a young age, winning local competitions at the age of 10. The singer-songwriter recorded her first album at 14. In 1985, she signed with Rounder Records and in 1987 released her debut solo album. The band invited her to join the band which she still performs Alison Krauss and Union Station and released her first album in the band in 1989.
