Dua Lipa is an English performer and songwriter from England who was born on the 22 1995 in London United Kingdom. She signed her first contract to Warner Bros Records in 2014 after working as a model and made her debut self-titled album in 2017. The album peaked at number three in the U.K. Albums Chart and produced eight singles including Be The One I.D.G.A.F as well as the U.K. number-one single New Rules which reached number Six in United States. Lipa received the Brit Awards as a British Female solo artist and British breakthrough act in 2018. Her album was certified platinum worldwide. Dua Lipa was was born to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa A Rexha Lipa and Dukagjin Dukagjin in London on August 22, 1995. She is of Bosnian origin through her maternal grandmother. Her family tree can be traced back to Kosovo cities of Peja. Both of her grandfathers were historians. The siblings of Lipa are Rina and Gjin. Lipa was musically influenced by her father, who is the leader guitarist and vocalist for the Kosovan rock group Oda. Her father at home continued to play music such as his music and compositions, as well as songs of David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Sting The Police and Stereophonics. Lipa began to sing at the age of five years old. After age nine years old, Lipa started to sing in the Sylvia Young Theater School.
